Default K20A RSX TYPE R

i found this website called jazzpro parts.. i'm doing my research about this particular motor and maybe say goodbye to my GSR b series to the K series..
the website post all of this for about 5700... what do ya think. and how much work is it to swap it into a 2000 civic EX

If that price is really for a K20A(*) DC5 Type R motor, and it really includes the DC5 ITR transmission including Honda Torsen axle, that's a decent price.

Please do your research carefully. Going from a B motor to a K motor in a car that was originally designed for a B motor is probably a little more work than you're thinking.

What motor mounts and what axles are you going to be using?

hey...
from what i've researched i can use 2001 civic Si axles or the 01 rsx but now the type s or type r axles. i already found out for sure that hassports makes the motor mounts and shift linkage.
yea i really dont want to say goodbye to our good ole b series but i've heard really good things about the k series.
any info you got to share about the k series swap

I payed 5700 for my k20a, so that sounds abour right. Even though i have seen them go for 5300 and 5500 recently on some websites.

try jdmtheory.com and see if they have some more.

i got mines from steve at hmotorsonline.com great customer service
