Check engine light after clutch install
i drive a 96 civic hatchback cx, i instaled a new stock clutch 2 days ago and had noticed that my clutch pedal was very soft, there are no grinds when shifting and i can grab gears very well, the clutch fluid is at normal levels and there are no leaks, i filled the tranny up with oil when i was done with the repair.
the problem is that my check engine light came on tonight as i was driveing home, the car runs no different with the light on. one thing i can notice is that when i really get on the gas through the gears it seems like it loses power shortly and then catches up and drives normal, thats only though the first 2 gears, i also removed the complete a/c system at the time if that helps.
i really trying to figure out why im losing power through the gears and what caused the check engine light to come on.
help will be greatly appreciated
