Default ripped off?

ok i just bought a so called clutch kit off ebay. it came with a lightend flywheel, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, pressure plate, clutch disk, and alighnment tool full kit right? why is it that every time i bolt my tranny up i get no throw in the clutch? WTF! i get about 2in at the bottom of my pedal thats it. put the stock one back on and works perfect. they look the same. when i tighten down the pressure plate the fins that contact the throw out bearing move in to the clutch to where they are pretty much straigh in line. that makes it so the fork is fully extended so there is no throw in the clutch. did i get ripped off or am i just stupid? what do you think?

perhaps the wrong part. the limit in travel is most likely caused by the disc center not having enough travel.

What kinda clutch is it?

When you say bottom of the pedal, do you mean right before you take your foot off or almost to the floor board?

Yea you can check the slave but I think if it was that the OEM one would be working poorly as well.
