Per the ITR forum guildlines, I just wanted to give the type R crowd a heads up that I am selling my car and this might be of great interest to the type R crowd.
I have been a member of H-T since early 1999 and were one of the founders of the NorCal type R owners club and one of the first members of the ITRCA.
I know I have dropped off the face of the earth with type R crowd since late 2002 (when I was still supercharged), however, as you can see, I was more then active in racing and working on my car. Anyway, the time has come to sell my baby.
The sale is happening earlier then I expected, but it appears that work will be seperating me from my car very soon.
Anyway, I am sure this car and its setup will not appeal to the majority of past/present/future type R owners, however, please respect my car and any potential buyers.
Also, to all the ITR old timers and new owners who either knew me, heard of me or knows me, I know this is a HUGE shock and you know I would not be doing this unless I really had too. As everyone can see, I am taking a HUGE loss in the sale of my baby, especially after I finally got everything dialed in perfectly!
Anyway, here is a link to my H-T marketplace posting.
Additionally, here is a direct link to the site where I have the full for sale ad posted:

It was never considered to be a "hot rod" only class car.
I designed the setup so that it could compete in the "hot rod" class with little modifications and also compete in the SFWD street turbo class.
Out here in CA, often the hot rod class would have 1-4 cars racing as opposed to the street class which would have 5-10 cars racing. Seeing that the "hot rod" class pays almost double the money if you win vs. the street class, I chose to make the car adjustable for both classes. As you can see, I was able to win both the Pro "hot rod" class and also the street "SFWD" class.
Having a car/setup that is as universal as this gives you the best of both worlds and payouts!

Corner weight and curb weight are two different forms of measurement. To not be misleading, it may be best to state that the car weights around 2600lbs-2800 lbs (or whatever the OEM curb weight is), which would be more accurate than saying 2160 with a full cage and full interior.
Your HT add has the actual milage where as your other add doesn't.
I thought my R was a beast at 700whp on race gas and 32psi. Yours made 850 at 55psi!
Good luck with the sale
I honestly think 30K is an absolute bargain for this Type-R.

I would give anything to buy this car!!
If a car could be more perfect this car is it.
It is perfect in every way.

thanks for the comments...
The weight listed is the track ready "total weight" (minus driver) as measured on Longacre scales during corner weighting/alignment for launch height and drive height. Stock/OEM curb weight weight has nothing to do with this car.
The breakdown "wet/race setup" weight w/driver after the alignment/corner weight adjustment is as follows:
FL: 743lbs
FR: 743lbs
RL: 543lbs
RR: 448lbs
TOTAL: 2477lbs w/ driver

That is an awesome and unique machine there. The mods and part list is incredible. I know you flared the fenders, but the part where it meets the bumper looks smashed. Is it just a bad picture?
BTW Haleiwa-Brando, when did your car have 700hp?
