Default S2000-friendly track day at Buttonwillow!

Leadfoot Adventures is having an S2000-friendly track day at Buttonwillow Raceway on Friday August 18th, and reg is pretty cheap at only $175 for the people who sign up early. Both of the Leadfoot Adventures founders own s2k's! This event will sell out though, so you might want to register pretty quick. Here's the link to the reg site: http://www.motorsportreg.com/c...28B69

If you’ve never done a track day before and you’re curious about what it would be like to drive your car on a real racetrack, this event is for you! Seasoned drivers are definitely welcome in the faster intermediate and advanced sessions, but the newest drivers will get special attention. Leadfoot Adventures has a great group of very experienced drivers who will be instructing the rookies both in classroom sessions and out on track. Check out the “Rookie Jump Start” page at http://www.leadfootadventures.com for more info if you’re new to the scene.

For those of you who know Buttonwillow, we’ll be running the #13 track configuration, which includes both the “Lost Hill” and “Bus Stop” segments. In the counter-clockwise direction, the exit of the sweeper and entry into the Bus Stop is freakin’ awesome!

Are you sure you spelled your name right??? I thought it should be moneymaker

You just came on here and started telling people about a track day, thats cool. BUT this just looks like a big plug for "leadfoot adventures". Good luck, you started off looking like a tool

Hey guys sorry if I offended you with this post. In my defense, I own a 2002 s2k in spa yellow and have tons of track time in it. I'm also a former President of the non-profit S2000 Club of America.

You sure do Chubz.

BTW, Buttonwillow should run around $160 a piece for CW13 config, if you have that amount of cars. Moneymaker for reals!

Not! But thanks for the business tips anywayz....

Hey, why don't you bring a bunch of those S2000's down on the 18th too? It would be way too cool to see so many at the same track event.

Let me start off by saying I dont like you. You have 7 posts and most of them are about a track day that you are going to make $$$ off of. I wouldnt have much to say to you if you were a member that was on here for ANY other reason then making $$$. But all you wanna talk about is your track day and how great it will be to go to YOUR track day with the s2000 crew. I think you should stop being a tool and go away

The early-bird pricing has been extended 1 week, so if you're on the fence you have until Sunday August 6th to save your spot on the grid for only $175. If you're new to the track we'll provide you with an instructor at no extra charge.

As promised, we've secured a discount rate at the Willow Inn for both Thursday and Friday nights. Whether you stay one or both nights, tell them Leadfoot Adventures sent ya and the rate will be $46.95+tax. Check in is after 2pm. The gal said the normal rate is $54.95 on Thursday and $59.95 on Friday, so that's not a bad price break we’re getting.

We'll be getting together at the Willow Ranch restaurant on Thursday evening to get something to eat, hang out, and knock back a few. Hope you can join us.

PS... We're up to nine S2000's signed up already.

You have nothing better to do than to flame me? Fart your head out and do something constructive for a change.

I ran the national non-profit S2000 Club of America for 16 months as an unpaid volunteer. Go question the motives of someone else. You're out of your league here.

So whats your point? Is it time to make money after the 16months of "non-profit" work? Im out of my league... haha!!! I have been doing this longer then most. My car is on 3 diff sites for RACING not show. You have no idea what I know and what I have. If you act like a TOOL and you do, I will let you know how I feel. I think you are a money making pile of dog ****. You are on here for 1 thing, thats money and thats it. Do you even own a s2k???
