Default Help with brakes!

Hi everyone,

I posted this in the Hybrid forum as well, but the smartest guys are here

Just put in a new mastercylider (15/16) and booster in my CX. Put in a rear disk conversion with new pads. I already had a Fastbrakes Wilwood kit w/ two piece rotors. We filled the system with new ATE Super blue fluid and took it for a test drive.
After about 2 miles the pedal got firmer and firmer with each stop. Then the brakes got tighter and tighter, the car went slower and slower until the car just stopped in the middle of the road! I couldn't pull over, move it or anything. Stranded in the middle of the road with the brakes locked.

I ended up calling a friend to bring a 10mm wrench so I could crack a line to move the car.

Can anyone help me with this? Any ideas? What to look for? HELP!

I remember reading a post a while ago that was extremely similar to this one. The person was having the same problem, but unfortunately I don't remember what the outcome was. I know this wasn't very helpful, but maybe that person will respond.

It could be your booster connecting rod ( forgot whats its called ). When you change the booster, you have to adjust the rod clearace back to spec. Too much clearance -> excessive travel before brakes are engaged. Too less clearance -> driving while braking. hope this helps!

Yes, thinking about it some more, the brakes were really touchy at first (very tippy top of the pedal travel). I'll try to adjust out the adjustment.
