ok my upper radiator hose is tighter than a BEOOOOOOCH when I stop my car which is telling me that its hot. but the temp gauge on my car says Im running like normal.. so my question is, Can I just gut my thermostat and will the car run ok?

genius the purpose of the thermostat is to help keep the engine cool gutting it wont do anything but make things possibly worse

to me it sounds like you may have a clog in the system why dont you do the right thing and flush the system

or have someone do it for you before you destroy your car
common flush and fill at like jiffy lube 19.99

replacing blown motor or headgasket more than 19.99

do the math
