AMSOil is really good from what ive had experience. I used to run it in my GS-t.
Holds up really well under 18-20 lbs of boost. Now, performance on our NA or Turb'd motors, I dont know.

I personally use Mobil1 Pure synthetic 5-30.

7500 miles between oil changes!!!
And I only use a K&N oil filter.

amsoil 5w20 and hamp oil filter is an excellent combo ... the best, in my opinion.

I'm currently running the hamp filter + amsoil 0w30 on my k20

I use mobile one 5w20 with a mobil one oil filter. But truly you do not see a difference in oil until you get into redline or other oils like that. I know this becasue i work with oil every day. But syenthetic is better then non, thats not what i am saying.

no the munbers do not matter that much. If you ever get a leak you will have less loss with 10w30 then 5w20.

yeah, i looked into it earlier and i'm definitely fine with the 10w30....the 10 compared to the 5 is definitely ok because 5w oil is usually used when the car is going to see sub zero temperatures, which i won't see any time of the year in North Carolina...the summertime heat is also going to offset the thickness of the 30 weight a little...and oil also thins out as it's used...

so all in all. i feel safer with the 10w30
