Default need some quick help.

hey guys just wanted to ask you accord guys if you thought this was a good deal or not im thiking of buying it but not sure yet. its selling for $8500 thanks for the help in advance

Car is a 1997 Honda Accord Sedan. The chasis has around 93k on it and the motor only has about 3k on it. The car was wrecked and entirely rebuilt from the ground up (3 Years Ago) by Jeff Dodson to create the beast you see now. Everything was done the right way, no corners have been cut to build this car

Engine

The motor is a JDM H22. The block was overhauled with JE 11:5:1 Pistons, Golden Eagle Rods, and Golden Eagle Sleeves. The block was actually assembled at Golden Eagle because I wanted a very reliable built motor. The head contains the entire Skunk2 Stage 2 Valvetrain including cams, cam gears, titanium retainers, valves, etc. The head was also milled, ported & polished, 3-angle valvejob, etc. The fuel system consists of RC 440CC Injectors, Eagle Fuel Rail, AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator and a rail mounted Fuel Pressure gauge. The motor also has a AEM Coldair Intake redone in a bronze finish, a Skunk2 intake manifoled (new style), and a Greddy EVo2 Catback. I also have installed a C&R Racing Radiator in ful-polish finish. Controlled by a Apexi VAFC. The tranny is were things got a little expensive. We left the tranny automatic but it was built using a one of a kind custom hi-stall torque converter (still chiprs in thrid!). The engien bay is super clean, everything was painted and glossed to match the exterior and all brackets were powdercoated. All bolts were replaced with new ones. The battery was moved to the trunk to make it look cleaner. The vlavecover is a JDM Type-S (Red) with a custom Red carbon fiber plug insert.

Engine Bay ETC
JDM Prelude Type-S Valve Cover (Red)
Custom Red Carbonfiber Spark Plug Cover

Interior

The interior has AutoMeter Voltmeter and Air/Fuel mounted on pillar. AutoMeter Oil Pressure and Water Temp mounted in dash (not hooked up). The heating unit has been moved to the glove compartment because the space was used to mount gauges and VAFC. Everything on the interior looks OEM. Panut Butter (VIP-whut?) leather seats, carpet, and dash. This was a top of the line model Accord, not a crank windows car.

Exterior

The paint on this car is the real selling point even over the built motor. It is House of Kolors True Blue Knady Pearl. I paid around $5,000 for the paint alone on this car. It feels like silk when you rub it. I just installed a carbon fiber trunk (VIS) and a new carbon fiber lip (0 miles). The lip was custom made from a Seibon WT so no one else has it. The car also features a VIS carbon hood and a VIS Mugen grille. The lighting consists of JDM one-peice headlamps in the front and rare JDM fogilights in the front bumper. I will also include a set of JDM sidemarkers that I have not yet installed. The rear of the car features a black air diffuser and a black tow hook.

Suspension

The car sits on a set of Apexi N1 Full Coilovers. I have yet to see another Accord with these Apexi’@@@s as they are top of the line. I have a TCS front strut bar and a Random rear strut bar. I will also include a Random C-Pillar bar uninstalled. This car rides very smooth and as you can see it is very low. But the car can be raised up probably about four more inches, I just prefer it low.

Wheels/Tires

The wheels on this car are VOLK Racing TE-37s in bronze color. They are very lightweight and very expensive wheels. The tires are pretty new Toyo’@@@s

it looks and sounds clean. but with that built of an engien, though it would be way more than needed if you intend to use it as a daily driver. If you plan to take it to the track all the time with the scca or something then yeah sounds good. But if it is a salvage thats a differant story.

yeah if i did get it i would use it as a daily driver, but i love feeling the power everyday. i had a silverado with a 5.3 tuned with a diablosport programmer and i loved screaming it down the road everyday lol. well im not sure what im gonna do cuz its kinda too hot down here to have no a/c and power steering lol.

well, dont make fun of me here but i like the fact that its auto cuz i hate driving stick, its soooooo annoying but the only stick i have driven is a piece of crap very slow s 10 so maybe if i was to drive a faster car with stick id think differently. But i just find it annoying to hit the clutch then shift up and oh cars are slowing down again shift again and etc etc lol i know i know im a puss hahaha

your gonna have a hard time selling it again if you buy the car.....Insurance companies chop the value of the car in half!!!! go check KBB and find out the value of that car in good condition and divide that by 2

yea, but you can amke quite a bit of money parting it out. those rims alone are worth quite abit. and if he has all the paper work to prove that the engine was built by professionals then you can sell that engine for quite a bit too. and the suspension, etc. but thats if u ever decide you want to sell it

looks and sounds like a great car, but yes i think the price is a little steep considering the title. maybe in the low $7k range...

ok now i got one more problem, im gonna have to get a loan on it cuz me and my mom were expecting quite a bit of money from refinancing but the guy who was doing it was scamming my mom cuz shes deaf and doesnt understand some things and he was trying to give her a loan where a lawyer was holding it and not a mortgage company and in 10 years we had to pay it all off or they take the house. pretty sweet huh ! you guys think i could get a loan for $7k or so on a car with a salvage title???? thanks justin
