Default which tune up is better??? need some help on this one

So i have about $200 and i know a local mechanic who will
-change spark plugs (platinum, ones but i read in earlier post coppers are fine so)
-change spark plug wire set
-change distributor cap and rotor
-change air filter and fuel filter

and then there's honda who will
-change spark plugs
-change fuel filter
-get valve adjustment

for same price, so idk which to choose, which is better?

which one would result in better milage? Cause my car's gas meter just keeps falling. :?

thx.

You can do all of that yourself in about an hour if you're not completely retarded, so I'd go with option C. You could also look up a Honda-Tech member in your area and ask for his help so you don't have to pay any more than the price of parts and maybe a pizza and beer rather than letting a mechanic do something that any toddler with a ratchet could do.

The local mechanic is giving you an extra $100 of parts, so I'd go with him. The valve adjustment isn't something you want to do by yourself if you've never done one before, but any number of people in your area could walk you through it.

Why don't you go ahead and put your location information where it belongs so the population here can render you some cheap help if you're nearby.

you should do everything yourself, then just take the car over to the mechanic for the valve adjustment. save yourself about $150.

No timing man, that's alot more money "depending" on who does it.... and I don't considered that a tune up, more so "needed maintenance" it should be done every 80,000km-100,000km.. according to my manual.. you can convert to miles

and the group effort with pizza, sounds wicked
