clunking when turning in and out of parking spots
like it says when i pull in and out of parking spots on my 92 DA i get this werid clunking noise. its hard to tell which side its coming from in the front. yea i am lowered neuspeed sports , tokicko blues. ive checked over the front suspension on a lift everythin is tight. now my tie rods are not looking to healthy my ball joints are still in good condition for 162,xxx. has anyone else had this clunk or know of a way to fix it? wat about the ES bushing kit for the hole car has any one used it? ive searched on here and g2ic not to much help with either.
nono no if you would of read its not a click its a CLUNK the axels have less then 5k on them its not the axels even tho they still vibrate underload
Check to make sure that your axle nuts are tight. If they are slightly loose, you will hear a single clunk when you pull out. You can make this sound occur if you switch from forward to reverse.
sounds like you need new alxes, look for tears and a bunch of sticky grease all over the inside of your wheel wells and/or the rims
dude i work for acura i know wat f'ed up axels look like the boots are not torn and they are not spueing grease out newhere i never thought of cheking the axels nuts but its not a bad idea to check

axels nuts are tight i reall dont know wat else it can be other then maybe stabilizer bushings they are all cracked guess ill try that next
Is it possible that when you lowered the car, the bump stops and "washers" weren't put in properly? The clunk is the top of the strut/shock in the engine bay shifting around. It's like it's not seated properly. Happened on my old suspension because we didn't put the metal washer (whatever taht's called) in properly.
alignment is good i lowered the car last yea i did forget the bushing then its was put on the next day . so i dont think its that im gunna dry the stbalizer bushings first then iner and outter tie rods since there original guess we will see wat happen from there. i also ordered radius rod bushings since there not lookin so good either.
found the problem was the upper control arm nut that holds it to the strut tower came loose i never put lock tight on them when i did the install now all 4 have new nuts w/locktight and torqued to 35ft lbs
