Should i remove heat sheild ?

Should i permanently remove the heat sheild the normally runs next to the power steering pump, alternator, and ac unit ? I removed the power steering and ac the other day and just wanted to remove any clutter.

i would say no because it will help your alternator last longer. heat + anything = less life.
