Default GSR.....Good deal or no?? Input please!!!

Thinking about getting a black GSR now. My neighbor about 25 houses down is asking $8000 for a clean title black 99 GSR with 100k miles, viper alarm system, enkei 18inch wheel, tein lowering springs, N1 exhaust system, DC header, AEM CAI, Type R bumpers and sides, clear tail lights and new tints. Car seems to be in good condition and drives as it should. Vtec is strong. clutch is ok. Trying to haggle down a couple hundred bucks. Is a 100k on a 99 GSR alot of miles?? Anything i should watch out for?? i would like to hear everyones input. Thank you all!!!!

Check if maintance has been kept up. Clean title or not. original owner or not. Check body condition as well as the interior. If everything is in line, I'd say that's a pretty good deal. Btw, ask for the OEM tail lights also because you might need them after you get through with this thread. Post up some pics for further insights. Good luck

Edit: It's VTEC and not "Vtech".

18s
I bought a GSr with 18s on it.. 2k later I had to replace the driver side fender lining and put stock wheels back on it.

anyone who has 18's and clear tails on a gsr probably drove it like an *** clown, I would be careful, also ask if he has stock tail lights and wheels if you decide to buy it.
in for pics.

they must drive that thing a lot cause i have a 90 teggy and i only got 145 and i'm the second ownter. that is a little to many miles for a 99, unless it was driven on the highway alot more then streets.

and you could kill him or give a good beating.... If in fact the car is a good buy(which I don't think it is) altezzas can be fixed, 18's can be sold, and you can get stock exhaust manifold from the junk yard.

Also I got my 95' Gsr for 5,200 and it only had 96,000 miles. ( I'd look around )
