I have some gsr fatties im putting on my 97 civic.. and when i went to see what they look like on the car the lug pattern doesnt match up right.. What lug pattern is needed to put these on? From what year civic or integra could i get the brake set up from? I need the easiest to find brake set up.. any help grately appreciated... thanks..

 

come on someone has got to be able to help..

 

all intgras EXCEPT type-r have 4x100
i know that up to 2000 all civics were 4x100
after 200 the 4 lugs should still be 4x100

Try actually putting the wheel on instead of just eye balling it.

 

I actually tried to put them on the car instead of eye balling... they dont fit, they are off by about a half an inch... not sure what to do.. i realy would like to get these to fit..

 

Only way i can see this not working is two things..

1. upgraded hub/rotor assembly that you dont know you have.

2. the wheels are in fact, not fat fives

this is possible.

my friend has the 4x114 i think from the 96 spec ITR on his EG and when he went to get winter rims/tires installed, it took 3 techs to try on the 4x100 steelies that the manual called for, puzzled, they told him the situation. man what a funny time.

And im sure they were techs employed at Honda. I swear some of those guys are completely clueless when it comes to their job.

 

14mm is ~1/2". Congrats, you have ITR hubs. Now have fun finding 4x114mm's. BTW, what did the old rims look like? Aftermarket, or 15" 8 spoke?

 

having a job as a tech at Honda dealership doesn't require that your into the aftermarket honda tuning world. a tech isnt going to know that a 96 jdm itr has a different lug pattern then a usdm civic.

 

one of the late 90's accord wheels looked similar to the gsr fat fives. And if I'm not mistaken some of the accord 4 lug patterns were 4X114 instead of 4x100.

its still a Honda lug pattern.

regardless, it still shouldnt take 3 techs to figure out a car doesnt have a stock lug pattern.

90-02 accords in 4 luge are 4x114.3 like the 96 type-r
