HELP! Oil fouled spark plugs...
So I checked my spark plugs to see if they needed replacement, and I found 2 were corroded with oil. I took it to my honda dealer, they simply said it was the seals and fixed the 2 for $60. However, the oil is still there. What else could it be? And most importantly, will this hurt my engine?
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.
97 accord lx V4.... anyway the oil is in.... well the hole, or when you open up the plug, it is filled with oil. If that makes better sense. So on top of the spark plug...

They might have only replaced the upper seals and not the lower ones below the rocker arms. Check out http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/sh...seals so you can get an idea of what i'm talking about.

Sounds like the cam tower o-rings as my dealer called them. And btw, you have an I4, not a V4. I personally don't know of any cars in regular production that ever had a V4, much less Honda doesn't even make 'em to my knowledge. The only V4 I know of myself is the engine used in the 1962 Mustang I concept from Ford. But I figured I'd just remind ya.
