Default An alternative to the A pillar gauge mounting

Well I've never been a big fan of gAy pillar gauges so i decided to make my mounting location, unemployment caused this as some can remember

Due to the heat of the south melting the tape and Autoworks EXtreme generosity I Had this, so know i had to put my guage(s0 some were else

this is not the finneshed product just most of the shaping is done, but its turning out pretty well so far.
I decide to uses the vent b/c it is in plain sight, Unlike the first one and I dont have a/c anymore.
BTW any one have a dc2 shift boot they would like to give me? or at least just the metal frame at the bottom?

Im not quite sure where your gonna place em, but I also have or guess should say, had my gauges where CRX rocks has his. The only problem with this is that I had EGT mounted the farthest over and let me tell you its hard as all get out to to read that thing being all of 2 1/16in. Next setup I do will have 2 5/8 because I dont want to have to try and really see what the gauge is reading, I want to glance and know exactly what its reading. That was also a problem with the boost gauge as well. It wasnt bad when I was running lower boost like 7psi but when I started running 17-18psi the gears go by A LOT quicker and you have a lot less time to look at your gauges. Post up more pics as you get farther along.

I'd rather drill into the plastic of the A pillar then into my dash to be honest.
