Default my opinion on ITR! n/a, JRSC, turbo

Okay, I had an stock n/a ITR, one JRSC ITR with 190whp and now I drive my turbo ITR.

Most people here know my setup and I think I can honestly compare those 3 setup.

Peoples who are talking about turbolag are false. Okay in AutoX it is a benefit to have a n/a or roots stlye SC. But on daily street driving turbo has the best powerband!!!!!!! I make above 3500rpm more power with turbo than with n/a or JRSC. I have compared my 3 dynoplots from those 3 setup. On 5000rpm a n/a stock ITR is making only 110whp.

Donīt let this thread bekame into a turbo vs n/a vs SC debatte. I only whant to share my experiences with those setups.

Turbo boost oWnZ.

Welcome to the club man. I also read ur other post of your dyno numbers. Which turbo are u using? What octane did u use and will use for 22psi?? U have a very good management system but I don't understand why u would have detonation? Let me know about ur setup, I might be able to help you with ur detonation problems. Sherbaz

It is the physicalic limit of 1.8 litre ith normal gas. I run 99 ROZ (equal to 95 US RON). To make it reliable, more than 350hp daily are not possible with normal fuel from 1.8 litre. So my tuner. Hence, them rally team are changeing the pistons every year from their Mitsu Lancer EVO VII rally car with stock stock 280hp. I donīt hear detonations, but on 20+ psi detonations are there and not the best engine management and the best tuning can this make other.

ROZ, RON is octane. We use to have 91, 95, 98 and Shell Optimax 99 Octane. I have heard this one is equal to 95 octane in the USA.
