Default Intake manifold.

Im taking the head off my d16z6 and was wondering how I go about getting the last bottom nut off of the intake manifold. I cant seem to reach it. How do you guys get it off? and when and if I get that nut of do I just pry the two loose with a prybar or screwdriver?

you may have to go from the bottom. We usually just use a uni 12mm & an extention. Also make sure you removed the black brace between the manifold & the block before this nut. That should make it a little easier for you.

take the hose off from the fuel-filter with a 17mm socket. What's confusing you?

Why do you need to take the fuel line off if all your doing is removing the head and leaving the intake manifold there?

im taking the intake manifold off too.

I went out and looked and I dont know where you want me to use a 17 mm socket. Do I not just pull the hose out of the metal fitting?

The fitting on the fuel rail is a 17mm. Also on the fuel filter. You should have taken everything off the intake manifold before you desided to take it off.

the easiest way is to take foo the 22mm nut off the fuel rail, it is pretty simple if you have the right tools...
