i would disagree i would keep the civic and make it so it kills an s2k. so u could get an s2k to pull up next to u and he would be like ownage. and then u just rape him and be like what happened. be an underdog. and kill. just my .02.

I personally have made the jump from a 350-400 hp civic to an s2000. its different i would hate to say but i like the S better. but i kept both so i didnt have to decide.

 

im not argueing but buying an s2k is easier than building a civic.

 

go for the s2k man

im trying to find this vid on streetfire where they race an s2k an ek9 with i think a b18c1. and a euro accord with h22. and they are on a road course and the civic wins by about a 1sec and the s2k comes in second.ill see if i can pull it up for u

id rather pay for a civic than a 35k dollar s2000

 

nobody mentioned monthly payments and insurance on the s2k

 

if you have the money to burn, i think an s2k will be a good start and better plateform to start with...

 

u have several other choices to consider for that kind of money so try not to limit yourself.. my best friend just picked up a 98 lotus espirit tt for 25,000 with low miles. i am die hard honda however I may be rethinking my next car now..
