My friend just called me, and told me that he saw my Type R's pictures on Craigslist.org. My Type R was stolen 11 months from New Jersey, and was never recovered.

I was ready to call the cops while i was checking out the page... all I found was some guy trying to sell a muffler(don't believe it was mine, mine was apiex), not sure why he posted my stolen Type R's pics. Maybe just to prove that it came from a Real Type R..

Definitely not a good way to lied to the Buyers. I only post my pics on honda-tech.com, so I assumed he's on here. Please don't use my Pics to proven that you have a true Type R part.

He probably just grabbed the pics off the net for example pics. If you didn't have the stock exhaust on it, I wouldn't worry. I think everyone here has plenty of pics of other people's cars. I would certainly use someone else's pics if it served a purpose, but only after asking permission. Some people don't care about permission.
Although, and here's the conspiracy theory side of me, maybe he did stalk and steal your ITR which is why he has the pics and is located nearby. And maybe he's now selling the exhaust of another ITR he stole. Doubt it

BTW Sorry to hear about your theft. What was the outcome of your theft? Find it? Insurance take care of you? What security did you have on it so others may learn?

 

I had audiovox pager alarm along with autolock on the brake pedal on that night.

Yes, insurance company paid me, a lot of paper work, it was painful... And I ended up getting a G35 coupe. Still miss my Type R at times though...
that's why sometimes i still peaks at this site to check out Type R pics although most of the time I am on the G site.

 

what did insurance actually cut you a check for??

 

i think i bought your stock itr suspension with HR springs, sorry to go off topic anyways they work great, im sorry to hear about the caR..

Damn, that car got stolen? I loved that car. I still got the pics somewhere. That sux man. Its weird that out of all the pics on here of PY ITRs he had to pick yours.

Isn't the autolock supposed to go on the clutch? sorry, but that might be a reason y it was able to be stolen. i don't think it would be hard to drive the ebrake to brake while engine braking.

Glad to hear you got ur money for it. for a nice G35.
