best tanny for a k 20
i have an auto 98 ex coupe civc hoping to do a k20 swap an a auto to manule sawp gettin tired of the kids in the stock chevys talkin trash for having a civc i no with time they will eat the words for breakfst lunch an dinner .....im workin hard alll summer at my dads shop to get the money was woundering wats is the best tranny for the k20 sawp .... an woundering if the k 20 would plug up the the wire harnest on the civic i no ill need mounts an a ecu

If you are leaving the tranny stock and plan on doing a lot of daily driving get a 6-speed from a TSX. If you are going to build it and drag race get a 5-speed form an EP3.
You will need to do some work to your civic harness and use a portion of the k-series harness to make that setup work in your car.

Get over it, V8 owners will hate 4 bangers, and vice versa.
And the best tranny is the K20R one. JDM K20A tranny. 6 spd, 3 synchros per gear (very good) and a factory LSD I beleive. Would come with an engine if bought as a package from HMotorsOnline.com.

ya, you want the k20r tranny... its a 6spd with a 4.7fd, and lsd... 
The harness can be converted if you buy a plug and play hanrness... ps, we sell those

Guys you know what I mean. There will always be guys who will say 'Honda sucks. 4 cylinder engines are for girls' and there will always be guys going 'V8s suck. 4 cylinders can go faster blah blah blah'.
We all know the fight, and if you're like me, you don't care and you learn to appreciate all of them. My bro and I made a V8 turbo run a pretty sweet number.
