Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to the Japanese scene and I just got my teg last week. I've moved over from the domestic scene, but I've always been in love with JDM styling. So with that, I've been looking around for a set of all amber bumper lens' but I can't seem to find any. I went to one of the many JDM stores in the area, and one guy told me that they're all home made. I was wondering what everyone has used for their lens and where I can get it. I'm from Toronto Canada so any US stores are out of the question for me. Anyone???

 

for 94-97 the jdm and usdm turn signals are clear with some amber.
for the 98-01 both the jdm and usdm tegs had all amber turn signals.
Feel free to correct me if im wrong.

older style ones you have to spray amber, 94-97, 98+ are amber already.

Pretty much any craft store you can get transparent paint.

 

thanks a lot guys. Yup $65 US is way too much plus Shipping. I Think I'll look around again for transparent paint. Would Stainglass Window Paint be the same thing??

I don't know if your wrong, but I have a '00 that came with half clear, half amber. Just like the 94-98. The previous owner could have been trying to get ricey, I really don't know.

As far as getting some new ones, you should be able to pick up a pair on ebay for about $15-$20. Mine are JDM, all amber (look at my garage). They look better than the clear ones.

and how do you have "jdm" amber markers,
I thought stockers were already amber for the newer front end?

I got mine for less than 20 bux off ebay.

you can also find aftermarket amber for 94-97 on ebay, for about $25 shipped or so.

what sucks though is that they don't have the reflector inside.

 

There is a shop u can buy them from in T-Dot, it is near the Pacific Mall. I will let u know.

if you sell them to me i may have a secret about those

on another note, i have a set of 98+ signals that were clear and i sprayed a few coats of krylon yellow paint on..if anybody wants them i'll sell them for $10+shipping
