car bogging after cleaning vtec solenoid...
1 week ago i cleaned out my vtec solenoid from my 95 gsr and for some reason it leaked oil through the cracks. so i took the solenoid off again and cleaned it with a clean rag and put it back. the oil stop leaking and now my car feels weird. sometimes it bogs during take off or randomly has no power at all. feels like the car is running on 50 horses to the wheel...no joke. do i have to get a valve adjustment or anything after removing the vtec solenoid?

valve adjusting has nothing to do with the vtec solenoid...are you throwing any CEL's? drive the car to redline...see if a CEL comes on if not check to see what your oil pressure is looking like...i cant think of anything involved in cleaning a vtec solenoid that would produce the problem youre speaking of without throwing some sort of CEL (usually involving nonengagement of vtec)
