So I have been toying around with the idea of putting alot of my stock 2000 DX parts into a '88-ish year civic.
I know my d16 engine will play friendly with the engine bay but I am trying to find out if it would be possible to retrofit my 2000 civic dash into the '88 civic.

Has anyone done this before? If so, pics and descriptions please.

If not, could someone help me out by measuring the width of an '88 civic's dash so I could at least get some idea if it would be remotely possible.

I am just looking for fit, I do not care about the wiring of it or any of that.

I bought it wrecked a couple of states away and was towing it home when the hood latch broke and the hood flew up and smashed the windesheild.

But I just wanted the engine so I didnt care.

 

i like the old school ef style dash.
