Inverter mounted
Anyone have a picture of a inverter mounted inside a cars center console. I once saw a picture of one mounted on the back side of a center console. I believe it was a Integra. I want to mount mine somewhere inconspeques.
Is it really that hard that you need a picture? Remove the center console, look for a spot big enough to house the inverter, and place the inverter there. If you really want to "mount" it, you can zip tie it or screw it to something (that you'll have to figure out on your own).
haha...ive tried that. All I was looking for was the picture of someone who mounted it. I tried mounting it but there are two brackets that come in the way. The person who mounted in the center console had it coming out the back so it looked hidden and flush and only the outlets showed. Nevermind if you people think its useless thread.
I could, but I would still have to find it to turn the power switch on. I took it all apart to try to make it fit in the hole behind the center console, but it doesn't detach off of the board. Ill figure something out. I found it the other day and never finished working on finding a place for it. Thanks for the help guys.

Not if you either put it on a relay triggered by the key, or just put an on/off switch inline on the power wire and mount that somewhere. Leave switch on the inverter itself to "ON" all the time in both instances.
