Default more abs removal questions

ok so i am planning on doing the mc swap to an rs and doing a 40/40 prop valve and running individual stainless lines for my brakes and i was wondering... well obviously i can take out the abs motor (big box in front of engine bay) well i was also wondering if i could take out the abs module in the right quarter panel. now if i can take out the module can i remove all of the wires in the harness that pertain to the abs... now i am wondering if my ecu will throw a cel or brake light in doing so. i am doing this for a couple of reasons... one i hate abs and two weight savings, that stuff is pretty damn heavy and every little bit helps.

Yeah you actually have to take the module out so you won't have the abs light lit, and no it will not throw a code. Also make sure you don't mix a non-abs MC with a abs brakebooster this will cause all of your breaks to lock up while you drive "I know this from experience".

well first off i have owned cars with abs and without and i prefer non abs cars. i feel like you have more control with pedal feel and control. now i know by studies that it helps you brake in a straight line and stuff but whats the fun in that. its also been proven for the most part that abs actually adds distance til your car comes to a complete stop (in dry weather of course) plus i also hate the self tests that the module does every once and a while. also its heavy and all of those brake lines in the engine bay aren't a pretty sight. i hate the way it makes the engine bay look with all of the out of control brake lines.

I have nothing against abs, but when I decided to turbo my car it I had to get rid of it. The main reason people convert to non-abs is to get more space in the engine bay and to subtract weight from the car. Also troubleshooting a faulty ABS system is a pain in the ***.
