Default GS-R Problem

I was driving my gsr last night and all of the sudden I hear 2 big pops and then it sounded like a flap was going around and around. I pull over at a church and turn off my car. I pop my hood then I go and try to start the car back up. It started but it only ran for like 10 seconds and then it died. I realized then thatb 2 of the belts were missing. One is the alternator and I am not sure the other one. I got it towed to a shop for the night. The shop called me today and said that they think my timing belt probably snaped and it caused my valves to bend. This is all they told me and the rest they told my dad. They didn't say anything about the pistons or rods though. Any help on what to do would be nice... thanks
