ITB's are bling, they add very little power, but they do compliment an N/A setup very nice.

personally i look at it in the tuning gains.
ive noticed how a few 2.5 motors have been built with out using itb's because the owners feel the itb's do not add power.
if itb's are properly tuned some power can be gained to the wheels. the problem is that most people do not have the proper ability to tune itb's. alot of people think slapping some itb's on their car and they will gain over 50 hp and this isnt the case.
if you have a nice n/a setup, example a stroker motor, the itb's and tuning are going to help get you some better throtle response and the last few bits of power that you can squeeze out.

What if I told you that was wrong and there's not enough room (probably) for ITB's for a 2.5L S2000?
The twm's was tuned on the AEM EMS with one of the nations best tuners. There is a video of it on turbo_pwr's car and mis-labeled pacman's car. I'm the guy recording the video. The car had probably the only toda ported and polished head made for a customer ever, thinner headgasket, amuse r1000, (forget which headers), toda cams, and made less than 230whp on a dynapak.
I also added that on certain days the car didn't even want to start because it became so tempermental.

Yeah the reliability goes down the drain with itb's.
I always wanted them, but after reading about how the car responds to different weather, and the loss of the heat/ac unless you mod the itb's i started to think less of them.
Turbopower is a metro guy. ive always wanted to see his car, but i havnt been able to check out an metro mod days yet.

They add considerable hp if they are designed correctly. Problem is most arnt.</TD></TR></TABLE>
When you say "designed correctly", are you referring to the poor design or lack of methods that allow the engine to breathe fresh air with ITB's. Most of the "noob" ITB applications that I've witnessed simply ingest heat soaked air from the engine and do more harm than good.

ok but how do you reduce in heat soak, so speaking that the itb's are bolted to the head itselfs. well??? i mean im not looking for enourmous amount of power so is putting itb's on a normal stock long block ok? school me here?
