Default High Flow Cat?

Anyone suggest a good brand to go with on a high flow cat? I have a stock header and RSR Exmag catback.

Are you talking polution wise? I think either way the differenct between the polution of a semi truck compared to a little crx lol, thats a big diffy, i would say that trucks put out 80 percent of the automobile polution criteria, they may make you try new things with your exhaust or at least apreciate the rex a little more

But anyways i would like to bump this, im also looking for a cat at the moment specifically to fit the b16a downpipe

What engine are you looking for yours to fit and as well the main question for everyone else what is a good kinda of high flow cat

All Metal catalyst.
That means it's more durable than ceramic...

A semi-truck's smoke stacks aren't pointed directly at your front bumper whereas the exhaust from a passanger car is...and you're just using a rationalization anyway. Ever sit behind an import without a cat in gridlocked traffic on a hot summer day? If not, go turn your car on, sit down behind it, and sniff your exhaust for about an hour. When you stop feeling sick you'll understand why people don't want to deal with that ten times a week (to and from work five days a week). It's just about respect, you really don't need the 2whp on the street and if you're any kind of serious car guy the 15 minutes and five bolts it takes to swap the cat to a test pipe for the track won't be any problem.

Get a Magnaflow or Random Tech. cat for a VTEC Sol or '99-'00 Si. Bound to fit since they're both stock with B16s.

Umm, reducing your emissions applies to everyone. Of course one car doesn't make a difference. But what if everyone on the planet did the same thing?

I think thats a little bit of an overstatement. Sorry, even without a cat my a little CRX wont throw out more fumes than a 7.0L V8, or a V10. I understand reducing emissions, but its still only a 1.6L, if u want to reduce emissions... dont buy a SUV or large truck.

To answer the question, i got my local muffler shop to install a highflow 2.25" cat on my CRX and it worked well, ive also heard megan has a good highflow cat.

Try to prove it Do a little back round research you'll be shocked.

High flow cats are great if your stocker is dead. Cheaper flow a tad better and still smog fine.

Hondas 3 way cats flow awesomly and really unless you are making enough power that you won't be streeting it a cat won't hurt.

I ran and got a catco when my stocker passed on its a great part
