ya u ever heard of http://www.ihateups.net. i send u a itr master cylinder and booster and ups damages and u want me to cover for the damages ups did. i am not ups's insurance company. and nor will i pay u 1 red penny out of my pocket if ups doesn't cover for the damages. u could make all the threats u want. have a great day.

Not taking sides, but UPS can suck my d!ck. They lost 2 of 4 rims that cost me ~$1,500. AND< THEY FUGGING BLAMED IT ON ME! WTF?!? Anyway, alerted Better Business Bureau and they went chicken and paid me CASH for the lost items.

Go file a claim w/ UPS then complain to BBB. Trust me, UPS will pay for the damages.

I sent you $141. I've got nothing for it in over 2 months.

People reading this, this is important... if UPS pays anyone it's going to be Brian, NOT me. That's the way they handle claims. On top of it, he didn't take insurance to cover the additional amount. So at best, he's saying I'll get $100. That's screwed up. I agreed to a SHIPPED amount. It's 100% your fault that you tried to save 30 cents by not insuring it for the FULL amount I paid.

Yes, I've bought from him twice before, but everyone should be warned. If anything goes bad, he runs and hides... WITH your money. The test of an honest businessperson is how they act during the bad times... obviously, you are not to be trusted.

Just to show that I'm not trying to flame... I do think that Brian will send you the part as described... sometimes in a timely manner... and I don't claim that he's a scammer. But look at my situation and you'll know that his ethics ARE a little skewed.

 

Sorry to here your online purchasing problems. I have been screwed before, and now I don't buy online unless it's local. No more mail ordering from me, at least not from a private seller.

Have you even tried contacting UPS yet? You're going to ruin somebodies reputation over $41.00. I think you should just calm down alittle and talk to Brian privately, instead of slandering him on H-T. I understand your all upset or whatever, but talkin crap is'nt going to get you any closer to resolving things........

Actually, I have remained very calm throughout this. It's been over two months now, and the only response I'm getting from Brian is that UPS sucks, and he keeps posting that Ihateups link. Today is the first day I've made mention of this on a public forum.

You reach a point that you give up on the good nature of a seller and just want to warn others of what they might be getting themselves into. That's where I am right now.

As for contacting UPS... UPS is considering this an issue between themselves and Brian Wong. They have no business with me whatsoever, only the shipper. Sooooooo... what they are no help.

As I see it, Brian has collected $141 from me, he's ALSO received an ITR brake booster and master cylinder (w/ a broken resevoir) back from UPS, freeing him to resell those parts to whoever wants them. It's kindof ironic that he's come out ahead in all this, while I'm left out the money.

I would like to point out that I'm doing my best to just state the facts here. I'm sure this is just hurting my chances of collecting anything from him, but that's life. If one less person loses money over the internet as a result of reading this, then I'm satisfied. As far as "slander" goes, it's only slander if you misrepresent the facts, which I have not. If his reputation suffers as a result it's a result of his actions.

Its not Brian's fault UPS fucked your shipment. Don't blame him for it and tell people lies.! He didn't screw anything up, he never fucked anyone over! All the ******* lowballers he had to deal with from HT send him $1 offers for 5 lug conv can take it up their ***! If you don't have the funds, don't lowball!
Jeff, take it up with UPS but don't blame him for this ****. No one here has their own business and offer money back. It a hobby. If you never get item, or get a bunch of crap then its a different story, but don't blame members of this board and ruin their rep because UPS fucked you over!

 

it's true it was my mistake for me not to insured it for $20 extra dollars. i charged him $141shipped for a itr master cylinder/booster. it was $15 for shipping costs and $5 for paypal fees. i dont think i needed to pay insurance for shipping costs as well? if ups lags on settling the claim it's out of my hands. all i can do is bug them. i dont need to run and hide. i post up ads every week. rarely have my packages ever been damages but this is the 1st time in which someone states i should have bought insurance on the shipping costs along with paypal fees as well. i get dicked around by folks when i sell stuff all the time.

 

UPS insurance is like extended car warranty. ITS POS and UPS will NEVER pay up. They will make excuses that its shippers fault for not packaging the **** properly. No matter how you package it. Its BS.

Jeff, if you are reading this, don't get mad at Brian. I am 100% certain that even if Brian insured it for 144 you will not get any of that money back from UPS. No matter how Brian packaged the part. I shipped a part in bubble wrap before thats not even fragile and when the person got it, it was bent! I think it really look bad on your part to accuse someone of something they didn't do and then post it as if Brian is a crook. I am not trying to back Brian up or anything, I am being outsider since I never bought anything from Brian before.

Brian is a great guy! He is 100% legit, straight shooter, no bullshit. He's the only guy I buy stuff from on the internet

 

if UPS decides to pay me for the claim. which would be $100. i will give him $21 extra since it was my mistake not to insure it for $121 instead. that's only thing i can do. and if he wants the stuff back so he could sell it on his own. i can do that too.
