can parts for a rsx-s go on to a rsx because when i look for parts the parts list always comes up saying rsx-s and nothing about a plan rsx

most everything. u can fit a type s exhaust on a base tho u just need a type s header and mid pipe. anything exterior will fit both also. like Todd00 said anything specific you want to know?

it really depends what kind of parts you're trying to put on

 

For the most part, yes most parts with minor modification or additional parts will fit on a base RSX. Not many direct bolt fits, they almost all use something specific to the Type-S or are built to work within the small difference of the Type-S engine from the Base (otherwise they would not specify the Type-S per application).

Just do your research and always feel free to call the company you are looking at. They can tell you if it will fit or what you would need for it to fit. Heck they may even have an application not listed on the site!

i was wondering the same, what about clutch and prssure plate?

also anyone know if the type s engine would bolt up to the base tranny?

 

clutch and flywheel will bolt up if i'm not mistaken ... and the tranny's will also bolt up... i think the only difference in tranny is the speed sensor or some sensor..

 

so the type s engine will work with a base tranny.
