my girlfriends brother has a trans mission problem. when we test drove it was fine. and shifted smoothly. now when it shifts to second gear it like kicks. wondering is there a recall or something on it... thanks for any help.

 

No recall on the 98-02 transmissions. His tranny me be starting to die out on him. Its a regular problem with the V6's and you cant really do much about it. Honda did issue a extended warranty but that only covers 00-01 Accords.

You might want to change the fluid to see if that helps any.

Make sure to use honda fluid. How many miles does it have? Just curious.

 

it's dead and it will be less than 500 miles before it will not move at all

I know I have been there already (see sig)

 

it's 141000 wehn we well he bought it was at 101000 or 100000.. u think the fluids could be low???
