I have just finished my h22 swap in my 92 lude and have a very big problem. My car is very hesitante when i start her up then when i shift if im in low rpms it bogs hard and hesitates but when im in high rpms it seems fine. i thought that it might be clogged injectors but they are fine, Any ideas would be very helpful

I dont have a cel come on and i did try and search but couldnt find very much. i dont know, but could it be my dizzy, its from my h23 engine and is brand new. other then that i have no idea what it could be but it sucks cuase it makes me look like a cant drive a stick at all and is embarassing. please give some insite

 

how low of RPM are you talking? 1k, 2k, 3k????

 

it goes until about 4000 rpms. it sucks cuase my car jerks until it gets up in the rpms

 

my cars gas milage is horrible as well, driving it is killing me

 

that sounds like timing, especially since you had the distributor off.

so did you set the timing? sounds like you dont have it advanced enough and half your gas is just leaving the cylinder unburnt.

 

Timing perhaps....double check the spark plug wires and make sure that they were put on in the correct order....also make sure the plug wire and boot are flush with the cylinder head cover. My shitty wires keep popping off my plugs and I get real bad hesitation/jerkiness.

i have tried advancing my dizzy and checked my wires and still does it could it be a map sensor or knock sensor? or something else
