Default Source for aftermarket A/C's ?

Yo..let's say I needed a smaller A/C or maybe even a more powerful unit...where would I obtain one?

Also...I was thinking that maybe some of these A/C's are more efficient as in doing the same job with less weight? Cuz, I've got an old prelude in which the A/C is dead...may as well replace it with a nice one...and, at the same time, pick up some info on my future plans for a nice, all out fast car (with A/C though)...

Otherwise..I'll just go OEM...wutever... THe real question here is really whether or not there are better and worse A/C 's out there...

I dont think there is an aftermaket AC compressor to gain more HPs.
If you put a smaller compressor(assuming u were able to find a bracket that fits), for your new compressor to produce the same cold air as the orginal, you will have to be reving your car.
If you put a bigger compressor, well, that just creates more drag.

Just turn it off and the AC clutch will disengage when you feel like drag racing someone.

or if you got $ you can buy one of the hondatas that turns it off automatically when you go past X% throttle (x= a point you set, 75%, 80% etc)

Oh cool...that's basically what I need...

Uhh...for that other guy: I was talking about Air Conditioner setups....they can get rather bulky, I was just wondering if there was a more efficient replacement available..that's all... THese guys gave me an answer....it seems to be about the bracket mainly....and then I can manage the A/C through Hondata/other(i assume) if need be...great.

Thanks
