????'s bout ebay turbo kits
hello. ive got an 91 ls/vtec integra and looking for more power. on my quest for boost i come across these kits on ebay for a thousand dollars. i get an ss autochrome kit that includes turbo, intercooler, pulleys, hardware, etc... i was wondering what your input on these kits are? do you think the quality is good for the money? will it last for a car with 105k miles on the odometer? and if so, what parts will i need? any replies, comments, or questions are appreciated. thanks
Yea the thing about ebay is, you can get for 1000$ the same quality as people who spend 2-3 grand on setups, that whole name brand thing having more quality and costing more is all a big fasaud.
Buy ebay if you want real power for real cheap!
Naw im just being a dick, seriously dont waste your time, something thats posted quite often on honda tech.

If you want to turbo your car, go to http://www.homemadeturbo.com and start buying parts. Between there and the sponsor section here i've just about completed my turbo kit, only all real good name brand parts, most of them brand new too, just wait for good deals to come up. I've spent about 1500 bucks, way cheaper than any kit with the parts I got.
thousands of threads on this!...them ebay kits will **** on you literally, you'll be lucky if you get a ebay kit that will even last a few weeks or month then say good bye to your motor, and then you'll spend twice as much fixing it, i say either peice together a kit which is cheaper or buy a used greddy kit. Or save up, you already spend a lot for an LS/VTEC might as well spend the same amount and quality parts on a turbo kit. Itll be worth the wait and money spent. That just my .02, Pretty much a no no
I've seen complete Greddy kits for as low as $1800 on Ebay. My friend's shop bought 3 of them. Supposedly they've found them for $1500 before, but I never saw them that cheap.
Isn't there a big writeup w/pics on here about the ssautochrome kits? Seems like I was reading about it on here a couple weeks ago.

SS Autochrome manifolds are known to crack and leak. The turbos and intercoolers that come with kits that cheap are usually low quality, and the kit itself is probably missing quite a few parts. Piece together your own kit.
