Belt Squeak

I've noticed recently (about 3k miles) that at idle there's a belt squeal/squeaking sound, but when I press on the accelerator, it gets louder... is this normal or do I need to get a belt changed somewhere?

timing belt tensioner may be bad, and/or u may be missing the shim by the harmonic balancer - fix it immediately before your belt is broken.
