I know I know, another paint gun thread. Give me your thoughts.
Trying to choose between a couple of guns.
One HT member suggested this one:
Devilbliss GTI Millennium
I read about these next two and chose them.
Devilbliss GFG-670 Plus
SATA JET 1.3 RP Superseed
I am only going ot have a 60 gallon single stage. So of course the lower air consumption is better, but I want the best quality paint job possible. I have another gun I can use for primer so I am basically looking for a high quality base/clear gun.
If you think there is a better gun in the price range let me know. I am looking to purchase one in the next day or two.

Also what would be a good mini gun to spray my cage with?
Do most of yall spray bays with a full size gun. Seems difficult in some spots.

It's all in the prep work if you want top notch quality.
I use Sata Jet NR2000. And had no problems spraying jams and engine bays with it.

Do you think the 1.3 would be better for me, a beginner, to use to avoid runs and such. I don't mind having to do an extra coat or something to ensure good coverage and no runs. I have a feeling I will do decent at painting. I am patient and catch on pretty quickly to most things. If not I'll keep doing it till I get it right. This car is my learning experience car. If I don't know how to do it. I am going to figure it out!
I know its all in the prep, but I still heard from many people that investing in a good gun can make a decent paint job a whole lot better.
So yall have no problems getting into places like where the battery/fuse box is. Seems like that would be the most difficult place to spray with out getting runs.

sata i hear is one of the best...supposedly the 'mercedes' of paint guns...it makes soft edges on its fan...i myself used a snap-on excaliber...that worked fine but the tip was kinda big for what i was doing..it was a 1.5mm tip...im guessing probably a 1.3 or 1.4 will do you well
Man, Ive never used a Devilbiss, but I dont think you can go wrong with the Sata. I only use Sata guns. Digital 2000 1.4 for base, Digital RP 1.4 for single stage/clear, KLC-B for primer and Minijet 3 for small jobs. I wouldnt mind getting the new 3000 guns, but mine still serve me fine for now. BTW Iwatas are good guns too and are a little cheaper than Satas.
I guesss sata it is. Anyone heard of the superseed gun??
Can you paint an engine bay with 4 oz of paint? (trying to see if I could use the mini to paint the pay.
