wat's up HT... i tried looking for key words that would get me close enough to a thread but i don't know where else to search or what word to use..

question is simple. just want to know if anyone has heard of a product that me be spray after the paint job is done in order to protect it against chips scratches debris on the road ect. . any name of products,company who might make such thing if it exist?? anyone w experience? is it worth looking into... would hate to spend tons pf money on a paint job just to drive 2 blocks and have a rock chip my hood...

any help is appreciated thanks

btw i did see on west coast customs tv show a film they put on a truck to protected paint job been that the truck would be driving around the dessert...

 

I say high-quality clear coat (and plenty of it) along with a decent wax will keep your paint pretty well preserved.

 

in las vegas theres place called de'angelos and they sell a special wax that does all that. really good stuff.i had my car painted a year ago. only a stage 2 paint job and i haven't had any crack chips or peeling

3m clear bra is your best bet...

but in the end of the day, if a rock wants to chip your paint, it will. lol ...seriously tho.

even an OEM paintjob isnt impervious to rock chips. but u will get better protection if you have a good quality paint job...
