When I first start up my 99 lx civic, I will start to roll and then it will just completely lose all power, even if I floor it, but will stay running. After 5-10 seconds, it catches....and normally I take off since I normally have the thing floored.

Any ideas on whats causing this?

my porsche 944 did that alot, but it was because i haven't changed distributor cap rotor, spark plugs, wires basically the basic tune up
