Just don't do your door bars like Chris has his! The double bend is a bad idea! Rest of the cage looks really good!

There are some earlier on if you want to see the unpainted ones that show the welds. Otherwise all the rest are on this page.

Grrrrr!! Go ahead rub it in. Yes, I'm still waiting for the cage to be finished. It's at a second shop now.

Soon, very soon. Will be on track at least 2-3 times by the end of the year. I'm currently trying to find a spare seat, along with waiting on my suspension to arrive. Now I've got to determine if I want to go with the ASR 32mm rear sway bar. Decisions, decisions...

Been referred to as "beautiful" (once painted) by the NASA Inspectors and SCCA Regional Inspector..

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1015508

I painted it white after those pics were taken.. otherwise, that's how it stands.. based on your drawing Rene, the only bar you're lacking is a lower brace between the two front a-pillar down tubes (a dashbar)..

I also recommend a low bar over the exhaust hump between the b-pillar bars, and a bar on each side from the shock tower down to where the b-pillar cross over the hump connects.. I don't currently have either of those, but as you see in my thread they were recommended and will be added in the next silly season..

Rene--

You found my cage pics, and also my MS Paint doodling. I'd take the doodling down, it was me free-handing before I had an actual cage, and I'm not a cage designer

<cough> Is the harness bar one solid bar all the way across such that the diagonal bar for the main hoop is two bars rather than one? </cough>

been there.. discussed that..

https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=2

it was deemed open to interpretation in that thread.. John Lindsay was the NASA inspector who teched the cage and seemed to think it was quite alright..
