ok don't know which to pick fusion or alpine?

these are the fusion components they are $250 canadian they sound really good for the price i give them a 7 out of 10 but i don't know much about fusion and their brand and if they have a good warranty or not

these alpines are $450 Canadian they have a fully adjustable cross over also note the cross over is way bigger then the speakers

how much USD can you spend? there are companies such as focal, crystal mobilesound, rainbow, dynaudio, etc who makes good stuff. Alpines are nice. i don't know about the speaker, but i love the SQ of their headunits
well nevermind guys i bought some boss components sounded better for the money i paid 165 canadian for them they are the AVA-KIT65 sound really good...
Alpine. They're made by Vifa now I think. They tend to have high end companies buuild their stuff and I think they used Dynaaudio in the past.
Fusion? Who are they?
Even then, just look at the crossover networks and baskets on the Alpine vs the fusions.

I can look it up, but to my knowledge, Vifa is only being used on the F1 status component sets that are not yet out. They are not making drivers for all of the various lines.
Also, just because you can find Alpines in a Ferrari, doesn't make them close to the best speakers out there. Hell, you can find Alpine in Vipers too...
Personally, I would look elsewhere to a company that specifically excells in making drivers, rather than a large company that tries to make everything under the sun...

Take this into consideration... Lamborghini and Ferrari use Alpine stuff in their cars, so it must be the best...
Though alpine does make very nice stuff, they are by no means the best. if you wanna talk about some of the best speaker then you have to look at companies like B&W, mark levinson, martin logan, etc. those are nice speakers
and remember a system is only as good as the wires used to connect it

That should start a good argument....one last comment - there is no "best" in car audio - #1 rule.

you wanna elaborate on the first part for me. and sure there is a best....but that depends on what you want the speakers to do.

Now there is the other argument - what difference can the wire make. This is also a big debate in RCA wires. Now if you want my opinion, yes, I think wires can make a difference, but the rest of your system must be up to par to hear that difference.
As far as "best" - it refers to making a blanket statement. No one can say "JL audio makes the BEST subs" - they are not the best to everyone. True Customer A may think that they are the best, while at the same time, Customer B thinks that they suck.
Some people are completely satisfied with a cheap set of Brand X speakers (often because their ears are not in tune enough to know what sounds good, or they have never heard any better), but then there are others who are not happy with a $7000 set of Rainbow speakers.
Essentially that comment is in reference to the question we see all the time....."What is the best components/sub/amp?" That question can't be answered because car audio is subjective...what I think sounds and works best is a function of my ears, taste and experience.
Those three things are dramatically different for every person - therefore it's impossible to say Brand "X" makes the best of anything....best for a particular application maybe, but you can't say things like MB Quart makes the best speakers...just doesn't make sense - it's a salesperson's line to try to influence uninformed buyers to buy from them.
my uncle bought some cable for his home theater for his house in germany, he spent like 14 grand on a 5 meter cable.
5 meters of wire ::almost =:: the cost of my car
thats not cool.
