Default Restoring fuel efficiency

I am getting very bad fuel efficiency on my B18c5. Will retarding my cam timing back to zero degree give me better mileage? I know I will be losing power for sure, but the horrible fuel mileage is unbearable. I am getting only 300km every full tank. My B18c5 is stock except for H22 injectors, excedy clutch kit and cam sprockets. I am running a PowerFC as well. Should I retard the cam timing back to stock and lean out my tuning?

Tuning with a wideband on a dyno would be your best bet. Just guessing at what settings to run is a recipe for trouble.

Injectors and power FC are probably the culprits. Get a wide band and tune your car properly, it's sounds like your just dumping fuel.

Was your car tuned with the Power FC?

^ Tuning required

<-- 540km / tank

Granny shifting FTW!

Tuning is the key. I run H22 injectors and usually get around 33-35 mpg on the hwy.
