surprisingly went up to 10 lbs on the boost gauge!!
info. integra ls; greddy turbo kit; greddy s bov; tuned on crome; 310cc;
my boosted ls for is set up and tuned on 7 lbs of boost until today when it went up to 10 lbs on my sw boost gauge. it never done this the first 9 weeks i've been boosted.
through my searched on the archived some people say is a gauge failure, but are there any other possibilities? the only thing i've done recently is turned the purple top of the bov the other way exactly 18 degrees.

let me ask you, when you see 10psi is it when it first builds boost it spikes to 10psi then drops down to 7? or does it hit 10 and stay there? or does it depend on which gear you are in? What type of boost controller are you running? the stock wastegate spring on the 18g is 5.5 psi. if you give us some more details on what is going on we can help better determine why it is doing this

so its stays at 10psi in 2nd and drops down in the rest of the gears? its boost creep. the wastegate cant handle the flow in 2nd gear
it goes up to 10psi in 2nd through 4th gear not sure on 1st and 5th gear.
i don't know why would the wastegate wouldn't be able to handle the boost because i never messed with it and i never had a problem with boost creep the first 9 weeks i've been boosted.
i appreciate the all the help!

ive seen the greddy internal wg creep plenty of times</TD></TR></TABLE>
well that is most likely the problem. they probably arent made to adjust the actuator arm...it would be better to get a MBC
or you can try to port the turbine housing and run a 2.5" downpipe to help boost creep

damn you f-i people knows your $h1t..
i bought the turbo kit used and the guy did say he was running 7lbs of boost.
when i got it tuned it was reading 7.2psi at 4k-4500 rpm and quickly drops. at 5k rpm i'm getting about 5.8psi and at 6k-7k rpm i'm getting only about 4.8psi.

i was running holding 10psi fine onmy greddy 15g.. using a turbosmart mbc.. also ported the hell out of the wastegate flapper hole. it was tiny as hell. and i also turned the nut on the wastegate actuator rod on full turn. steady at 10psi after that...

i'd checked.
i'd just picked up a hallman mbc, hope it'll fix the boost creep.

just installed a hallman mbc and it didn't do anything with the boost creep. so then i tried the nut turning on the wastegate actuator rod and it seems that it worked. but now i'm boosting 8psi and i have the boost controller at the minimum.
