Default Headlights on ITR

I have a 99 ITR, I'm looking to do a HID retrofit

I been having trouble finding 98-01 headlight for a decents price but i came across 94-97 headlights for dirt cheap

Just wondering if there is a notice able differents between the two and if they are a direct fit

should I go with the 94-97 headlights and pay quite a bit more for the 98+ headlights??

98+ lights must be used on 98+ noses.

The slope of the light is completely different.

94-97 are a circle, 98+ are more oval shaped and slope to the middle of the car
