A similar tool, although MAYBE different in size, is a ball-joint removal tool, or ball-joint remover.
Otherwise, in my garage, I'd probably name it a "screw push pop thingy"...to be technical.

I'm going to call it the "More time for beer" toy.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by joeny12985 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">anyone know the name of the tool?</TD></TR></TABLE>

if you dont have a press just drill holes around in the rubber then pull the center metal out and cut the sleeve with a hacksaw and pry and bend it, it will pop out

Its called a ball joint press, I think auto zone will rent you one. Harbor freight also sells them for much less but use at your own risk. For the LCA's just take them off and go to a place that has a press. $40 later you should be done.
the only place i was sent to by people said they dont' have the right tool and the other place out here that is a ricer shop wants $75 minual
