Default knocking noise under valve cover? is it valves?

single cam motor. missed the 90k service.

just recently i did oil change and new spark plugs. not sure if the noise was there before all that or what, but there is now a knocking noise coming from the engine.

kind of like a "PECK PECK PECK PECK PECK" noise or like a "PACK PACK PACK PACK PACK" noise.

What do you think the noise is?

sounds like valves, jack the car up on jack stands and get under the oil pan and see if you can hear it louder, if you do then that could be a problem

It's the honda noisy valve noise. Adjust your valve lash and change oil, that's about all you can do. Or you can rebuild the head.

Just live with it
