Default removing clifford alarm

ok right now i have a clifford alarm. i dont really like it so i wanted to remove it. anyone have any tips on removal? and also will my car still have the factory keyless entry? its a 00 civic ex? what my plan was to hope the factory keyless would still be there after the removal of the clifford and to use the automate(dei) 415a along with the factory alarm. so if anyone has any help on this it would be awesome. i have the afternoon off so i have free time.
thanks

Before you do anything, why don't you like your clifford?

well it was someone elses mess(previous owner). there is only one button for unlocking and locking the doors so i can never tell if they are opened or not. there isnt a horn to tell me the doors are locked. so basically its only convient when i am 5ft from the car. not the point of keyless entry, i would rather use the factory set up.

You should probably remove the starter kill relay from the ignition harness and solder the starter wire back together. Then unplug the alarm harness. You can probably pull the whole damn thing out since most installers use those shitty connectors.

The park lights would flash when you arm/disarm the alarm lock/unlock the doors, [normally 1 flash for arm/lock and 2 flashes for disarm/unlock] also the siren should "chirp" once and twice, [chirp may be turned off in programing].

The factory key-less should still work, [once you program a new remote] there is no reason it shouldn't. 94

If the siren has been removed, why not just replace it? 94

1. i like the factory remote. being that it has a seperate unlock button i can keep pressing it knowing the doors are unlocking.
2. there is a horn but its weird its gone off on me before but not from like a break in kind of situation but from me hitting a button to many times or something i dont remember.
3. i already have sitting in my room the oem seperate alarm system that goes along with the factory keyless
