hey, I've heard similar questions like this but i couldnt find any relevant threads

On the dash gauge where the shift indicator is on an automatic, i turn the car on and the red square around the P and the green one around the D4 are both on, now ud think driving would remedy this but sometimes when im driving the d4 light goes off leaving the shift indicator column light less.

Tonight the BRAKE LAMP light came that sits under the open trunk lid light on the picture of the car on the dash panel, but my brake lights are all working.

I did get in an accident a few days which resulted in a mean check to the fender and wheel.

Oh yea, my cruise control stopped working, coincidence? I'm trying to sell this and get a 5th gen for sale down the street but i got to get some things in order with this first.

Anyone got any suggestions/answers? all the little stuff is piling up on me

 

It could be a number of things, but since most of these electrical items are kind of recent, I would check the various ground connections first.

 

where would i find the grounds for those lights?

 

Some of the grounds are under your dashboard and kickboard areas. You may also want to check the fender area since you stated you had a recent fender accident.

 

could this affect performace of the car, transmission or anything?

 

It depends on what are the real causes of the symptoms you are seeing. But I would check the grounding first, since so many electrical gremlins recently surfaced.
