Default Need Help on GSR buy. Mileage inquiry.

Hey everybody how are you doing hows your vtec poppin? Well im new to this whole honda/acura game and was thinking about looking into buying

a GSR. The thing is I cant really afford to just go buy a GSR motor or I would and just

drop it in my crx. I was wondering if I should really pay like 12, 13, 14 thousand some

odd dollars for a GSR with 70-80k(kinda high for the money?) just so I can have some b18 action and a better starting block

than the d16a6 with 90 some thousand on it. Ive always wanted an Integra too just

something about them. The thing is if I go buy the GSR ill be making kinda high

payments and then insurance and wont have enough for the JDM front end

conversion. Whats an Integra without a jdm front end, I cant stand the circle lights

really. Now the jdm one piece lights I think those are so so awesome and I know id

never be able to save up for it though. So what would you all do? A. go out get a

GSR financed sayF the JDM front end and rock the circle headlights even though I

hate em? B. Work on the crx, paint it, and enjoy my amazing gas mileage? Maybe

SC it when I get 2 grand saved or wasting my money ? Opinions? Thoughts? Flames?

All Welcome

PS. Did I forget to mention the part that I need VTEC Y0!@!@!

Um well if you don't have the money to buy a gsr motor that is 3k then why would you be able to afford a gsr that is 10K? Plus a 2k front end... I think the crx is an ugly car and i love integras.... i'm sure that you can find one for a whole lot less than 10-13k

I can afford a gsr because I could finance one at a dealer, you cant finance engines, and

I thought they were like 4 grand, their only 3

You all dont understand theirs noooooooo GSR's around here im gonna have to travel

atleast 100-200 miles just to get one. Seriously its nothing but shitty *** used domestic

lots and then the new cars around here like as far as the eye can see. Theirs a honda

dealership 30 some miles from here though. They want outrageous dollars though. Sure

they wanted to sell me a civic Si sure 491 ***** expletiving dollars a month. Ive never

seen any sweet GSR's there though. Now im starting to toss up this idea, if im gonna

throw down this much for something why not shoot for a type S. K-series baby!

Theirs alot of em on here around the same well 14 or 15 and those are sweet cars

and the K series is the new hotness I want one. Then again though I come back to

the lines of the Integra and just dying for it. I cant make a decision Integra or Type

S now, I should prolly just get a RSX and say F it and try some special K action.

When does VTEC engage on the K, or wait can you adujst that, I mean the stock

engagement like 5500 or...? I dont know what do you all think I should do? Whats got

better stock handling? I would guess Integra just by looking at some of them and

then the RSX, but what the hell do I know anyways.

I paid $6500 for my 00 gsr with only 56k on it... although I had to replace the windsheild and hood... so it was more like $7k for it... but I got a steal on mine...
