Default 1990 Honda Civic CX

Hello.
I am a new user and owner of a 1990 Honda Civic CX. I recently purchased the car with out doing much research and i was wondering if i could find out more about it. I have searched everywhere for info about this car and have found absolutly nothing. I am interested in tuning the car and was wondering what parts i am limitied to becasue i have searched for a tubo or a supercharger kit and have turned up with nothing.
Thanks.

JV

This is commonly known as the STD, so try that, but you won't find much because the DPFI system sucks and it's only got 70 hp. You could do a head swap and MPFI to get you up to around 100 hp, and a mini-me (vtec head swap) would get you a bit higher, but MPFI really is the necessary thing to do.

DPFI = Dual Point Fuel Injection
MPFI = Multi Point Fuel Injection

DPFI has two injectors on the throttle body and just really sucks, MPFI has 4, one at the end of each intake manifold runner.

It's cool.

Very doable.

150 bucks is about average, more or less depending on how good of deals you get and what stuff you go with.

You need:

PM6
Distributor
Complete intake manifold/thottlebody/injectors/fuel rail
Injector resistor box
Wiring materials to hook crap up.

I think that's all from when I did mine.

Oh my shitty *** canada. A grand pot-holed filled place called nova scotia. Is there kits to do this or will i have to buy the parts individually?

WOW i didn't read those links before i posted. Haha post first ask questions later right? They will be very helpful thank you so much. I can admit i really don't know much about cars but im learning. I plan to do a complete overhall with this baby. Its going to take awhile but hopefully it will work out. Im thinking matte black gold rims carbon fibre side panels trunk, hood etc.
Is this a good car to do this on? Also will i be able to put a supercharger or a turbo charger on this car, i really am interested in the performance as well as looks.

in my opinion dont bother supercharging or turboing the engine. instead do an engine swap. my list of engines for swaps would either be a d16z6, dohc or sohc zc, jdm d15b, b18, b16, and finally lsvtec [b18 or b20 block with another b series vtec head]. those are just the different kinds of swaps i would end up getting but there are more choices out there.

read on and research
